Chearsley Project

This was a fantastic design-and-build project that allowed us to bring together a range of complementary materials to create a cohesive and flowing garden layout. The brief was to design a space that felt natural and inviting, with clearly defined areas that could be enjoyed throughout the day as the sun moves around the garden.

Curved brick pathways guide you through the space, seamlessly linking multiple seating areas and terraces, each positioned to follow the sunshine and offer a different perspective of the garden. The combination of natural stone paving, traditional brickwork and soft planting areas creates a timeless yet contemporary feel that sits perfectly alongside the character of the property.

A new lawn area was installed with brickwork edging to soften the curves and frame the garden beautifully, while raised planting beds were created to give the homeowners a dedicated space for growing vegetables and seasonal plants. These raised areas add structure and interest, while also being practical and easy to maintain.

The clients were keen to take on the planting themselves, so we’re really looking forward to seeing how the garden evolves and matures over time. This project is a great example of how thoughtful design, quality materials and collaboration with the homeowner can come together to create a garden that’s both functional and full of character.
